If you don't like what your does, your recourse is to vote them out at the next election. That's how Representative Democracy works. I'm not even arguing if that's right or not, but that's the system we've had since parliament began, and it's what our democracy is built on. If you want a Direct Democracy, then you need to advocate for that.
