This week, the Pose star called on his fans to engage in a little fashion fun while staying at home, tasking his followers with recreating one of his most memorable red carpets looks: his theatrical Met Gala ensemble. Thus, the #billyporterfashionchallenge was born. The Met Gala’s theme last year was all about the camp; embodying this spirit, Porter stormed the pink carpet last May in a custom “Sun God” ensemble by The Class of 2020 The Year When Shit Got Real Fun Graduation Tee Shirt Blonds, which included a bejeweled catsuit outfitted with foot wings, a karat gold headpiece, custom gold-leaf Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, and tons of fine jewels. The outfit was inspired by Diana Ross in Mahogany and Elizabeth Taylor in Cleopatra, among other cinematic references.
