It’s just a film and he was an integral part of the film, I was really looking forward to the remake but it does look a lot different to how it was before Agreed. As much as I appreciate the power dynamic being addressed, Shang didn’t know Mulan was a woman. He didn’t abuse his power. He just did his job. This film version will not be based on the 58 Years Of 1962 2020 007 Thank You For The Memories Signatures Shirt animated one but be drawn on from the Ballads of Mulan which in itself creates a new world. Mulan was always my favorite animated Disney movie, but I am looking forward to the live-action version specifically because it is different.

I think a lot of things that feel magical and creative in cartoon form just come off as hokey and fake in live-action form. Jas Hearnden I mean, it was originally a film that featured a strong, feminist leading character way before me too movement, SJWs, and political correctness.
